I have chosen to complete an e-portfolio because I think it will be a great personal resource for myself. I can organize my accomplishments, thoughts, etc. and continue to update it throughout my internship and career. I would also like to be able to teach my students how to create an e-portfolio.
As far as professional uses go I would like to think I will use my e-portfolio when applying for a job. I could also use it to introduce "who I am" to my employer, my collegues, and maybe even my student's parents. Again, I would like to see students creating e-potfolios in my class.
I plan on including my school history and achievements, work history and achievements, co-curricular activites including volunteer work, travel, beliefs and values regarding education, short and long term goals, personal reflections, and a one-page printable resume.

I am concerned about my lack of computer skills to actually construct the e-portfolio. To overcome this I will learn about the construction process and ask for help when needed. I am also concerned about how long the process will take. I want to be sure that I organize my time so I will be able to include everything I want by the due date. To overcome this I will break my e-portfolio down and the amount of time I have after I get a feel for how long it takes to construct one.
I am very excited about this project and look forward to getting a start on it!
Thanks for submitting this assignment early. Sorry it has taken me so long to give you some feedback. YOu have clearly outlined the purpose for choosing an e-portfolio. You also have a solid plan for the layout of each page which will make you life easier when it comes time to build your site. I was wondering if you have given any consideration to the other visual elements such as colours or graphics? I am pleased to see that you think e-portfolios might by used in your classroom.

I am not sure about what colors I will use. I usually match what colors I use to the pictures. I have started finding pictures and other documents I would like to include.
