After class today I noticed that I had a nice black smudge of mascara under my eye. I managed to make it through the Tim Hortons line, through arts, commerce, and my first class in the education building without anyone telling me.
This reminded me of a blond moment I had in my third year of university. I was on my way home after a chem lab. I walked to Place Riel and waited there for twenty minutes before getting on the bus. After I got off the bus and was walking to my house, I noticed I still had my chem goggles on. I was wearing those ugly things for at least forty minutes without anyone saying anything.
I would rather be told that I look like an idiot and have one minute of embarassment than walk around all day looking like one.
Now I have to admit I would never say anything to anyone else in a similair situation (ie. having something in your teeth) unless I knew them well.
I wonder how many people out there would tell a complete stranger. I sure wouldn't! I'd just stand by and laugh at the poor fool wearing their chem goggles home!
